Registration Fees: Athletic Trainers - $ 110 (on/before January 6, 2020) -
                                                                $ 135 (after January 7, 2020) 

                                Students (NO CEUS) - $50.00 (on/before January 6, 2020)
                                                                    - $60.00 (after January 7, 2020)

Fees Includes:  All program sessions, materials, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on Thursday and Friday and CEU’s. See information below regarding CEU’s.

Course Overview:  This course will bring athletic trainers the latest information on a variety of contemporary sports medicine topics. The program is unique in that it will demonstrate the connectivity between medicine and science. It is now evident that athletes, their parents and their coaches want sound medical advice based on science. 

This symposium is specifically designed to provide athletic trainers the tools needed to keep teams healthy and “in the game”. The symposium will cover: Sports Nutrition, Shoulder Evaluations, Hip Impingement Evaluation, Understanding when to Refer, Hip Dissection, Prevention of ACL injuries, Dynamic warm ups and cool downs, Hip & Shoulder Rehab, Joint and soft tissue mobilization, Injuries to throwers elbows, Concussion update, Spinal Deformities, Upper Neuro Eval, Evaluation of a concussion, Throwers elbow rehab, Evaluating the Upper Extremity and Spine and Upper Extremity and 1st Rib Mobilization Tricks . 

Educational Objectives (Science, not snake oil):

  1. Provide a scientific basis for the management of a variety of sports related injuries.
  2. Develop a concept of the athletic trainer’s role on a Sports Medicine Team.  
  3. Provide the most up to date information on other contemporary topics.

Cancellation and Refund PolicyCancellations received at least 5 business days before the event (January 3, 2020) will receive a full refund. For cancellations made less than 5 business days before the event your registration fee will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the start of the program.
