Laurie Auditorium is a beautiful venue that plays an important role in both campus and community life.  The amphitheater design and wide stage allow for excellent views throughout the hall.  In addition to its design, the auditorium is the largest on-campus facility, seating an audience of 2,700.

Booking Information for Off Campus Organizations

Please call 210-999-8110 to speak with the Auditorium director regarding date availability.

Once a reservation has been made, the date will be held for a maximum of sixty (60) days unless challenged. If challenged, the date must be confirmed or released within three (3) working days.

After sixty (60) days, a contract (includes non-refundable deposit) must be issued to confirm the date. Otherwise, after sixty (60) days the University will deem the event cancelled and release the date. A completed contract is necessary to confirm a date. A hold does not imply that the date is confirmed.

A request for a contract for the use of Laurie Auditorium must be submitted in writing at least ninety days prior to the event date. You may email the Director at the address below.

Please include:

  • Name of the Event
  • Date of Event
  • Date and Times for Load In and/or rehearsal
  • Your Mailing Address
  • Contact Person, phone number and email address
  • Laurie Auditorium will not automatically forward a contract based on a hold.

A maximum of two (2) days per month may be held as "first hold." Any additional dates will be placed as "second hold." There is no hold available after a second.

When a contract is issued, please read and follow carefully the instructions in the cover letter and the body of the contract.

No event can be booked with less than sixty (60) days notice.

For Academic departments sponsoring a University event please refer to the Faculty Staff Handbook Section 7C for the policies regarding official University events. Please check with the Director of Laurie Auditorium for the availability of dates prior to making your T Space request. Student Organizations

Officially recognized student organizations should refer to the Student Handbook and the Handbook for Student Organizations for policies regarding the booking of campus facilities. Please contact the Director of Laurie Auditorium at 999-8110 or khawkins@trinity.edu, prior to making your T Space request.

Normal seating capacity is 2,479 and can be increased to 2,709 by additional seats on the covered pit.
